Why is it that it seems that all those fresh new ai goodies seem to land in all those american civil war titles, of course in total war you can put another general in command of your second army if one joins in but that's about it

look at that ultimate general game, you can switch from micro to giving orders to your commanders in a switch

what's up with that ?

do other war game era's feel upfronted if those options would become part of the gameplay?
