Welcome along. This place ain't perfect (what store is, really?) but if DRM-free is a concern then I'm not sure there's a better place to be. 1,000 plus good-to-great titles, including some of the ultimate classics and along with some great new stuff, made to work on as many operating systems as possible.

And one must give kudos to the publishers who agree that DRM-free is a good way to go. Hell, some feel it's the ONLY way to go, and they deserve our thanks.

davethetrain: just found out about this amazing place.Just browsing trough the games brings back memories ( they have the first game i ever got for the pc (dragon wars ). Also prices are better so i will most certainly be purchasing more and more in the future. Keep up the good work.
Nice to meet you.
Three things you should know:
1. Rep doesn't matter.
2. The men's bathroom is filthy.
3. Approximately 50% of us are inebriated at any given time. The rest are just crazy as it is.
Welcome aboard!

Sounds like he's here for the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ood ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ld ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ames.
If they offer you food, or drink, or any sort of goods in the hermit cave... please say no.

My 2 cents.
If you like Dragon Wars, maybe you should try Bard's Tale 3? It was written by the same person.

Note that you should avoid the DOS and Amiga versions, as they have many bugs that lessen the experience of the game. The 2004 Bard's Tale game available here comes with the Apple II version of BT3, which is one of the good versions (as in, things actually work properly, dragons can breathe fire, anti-magic zones dispel levitation, etc.).

Edit: One other note: There is a fan patch for the DOS version that claims to fix at least some of the bugs. If you want to play the DOS version, I would recommend that patch (it is supposed to fix the dragon breath bug, among others.)

Isn't he British? What would he be doing with cents?
And what if I'm offered puzzles?
