Hear, hear. I have been saying this a lot too.
I come to GOG for what I call "big releases". I'm pretty flexible in that definition since for me it includes "AAA" style games, "AA" games (even ones with a lot of jankiness), old-school titles (at least those which felt "complete" and longlasting), and some indie games which provide bigger experiences in more immersive worlds.
It's just that most of the pixel indie games and arthouse style indie games don't really meet my definition since they are so much more bite-sized and/or lacking long-term replay value (and I say that as someone who is perfectly happy replaying a single player game over and over).
I am not a blind "pixel hater," for instance I think Dead Cells and Legends of Amberland are both awesome. Overall, though, I still maintain that indie gaming should have mostly moved past the 8-bit pixel style at least half a decade ago. Let's see some more PS1 style graphics at least.
