Just as a heads-up for those looking to buy the physical Collector's Edition and for those who didn't even know it existed: The game is finally back in stock on the fangamer website. They ship internationally as well (I paid around $21 for shipping).

So you were lucky that it didn't get intercepted by customs. ;-)

I don't know yet, I just ordered it earlier after getting my email that it's in stock again. Customs are taxes rather than shipping costs though ;-)
Also, what I appreciated, no registration was required on their website. Email, address and (unfortunately) a telephone number were enough.
Wow I want that! Need to stop spending money on expensive collector's editions of things though.

Well, I hope you're lucky... customs can add up to 30% of the price. That's why I try to avoid ordering anything in the US (from Europe), if I can.

19% here. I know about importing, been to the customs office three times already. Paid customs duty in advance, paid it while receiving the package from the postman, paid it while getting it from a post shop. I think I've been through all the variations...except for it just getting sent back.

It's a nice box. The oddest thing was the GOG redemption code stuck on the outside of the box for all to see.

Well, it arrived today and I didn't have to pay import VAT (lucky). The packaging is really cool and on it they listed all the small items inside and what they cost (floppy is $3.47 for instance).
And like foxworks says, there is a GOG code outside which is nice, I guess.

Are you willing to trade the GOG code?

Likely not, I might even use it myself or I will give it to a friend. I know of another user who bought it right after me, maybe he will trade? I will mention it to him in another forum section.

Nah, I generally don't preorder. I'm also not really familiar with the title as jump 'n' runs/platformers aren't exactly my genre of choice (with exceptions in the 90s).

Thanks. I have a lot of old big-box adventure games he might be interested in trading with.

I'm collector of big box PC titles so if you strike out, let me know :)

The problem is I'm in the EU, so sending something to the US as a trade would be expensive for both parties (postage for me, customs for you).

Aye, that would be no good. Ta!
