I was a huge fan of Theme hospital and recently my cd broke.
So, I thought of getting this game through Gog.
My friend bought it recently and says Cheats aren't working in this version.
Is that true?
I love the game, but I like to cheat once in a while too :p

There shouldn't be any reason why they wouldn't work unless the cheats came down to version.

Apart from those rat shooting sub games (which I was horribly crap at) do you even really need cheats for this game? I love it, but it's not really all that challenging.

Sometimes it is fun to just build totally wacky hospitals for the sake of it though, and this is where cheats come in handy. And I never liked the level where you get 3 highly trained doctors and have to train the rest, so I usually cheat my way through that one (I just find it tedious, but it is not challenging).

I tried money cheat right now and it works so I guess other cheats should work too.
So if absence of cheats is keeping you from buying the game, then you don't have to hesistate anymore. ;-)

Consider trying out Corsix as well. Worked very well for me a couple of months ago when I decided to try out Theme Hospital again, until I got bored, again :P
