I think the race for the smallest phone was left in the 90s? Back then the one who had the very smallest phone was the coolest person on earth. The movie Zoolander made a joke about it as Zoolander's phone was the size of a thumb.

The current race is for big & thin phones.

What would especially annoy me in a small (or thin) phone is that its battery is also very small, hence I'd have to recharge it often.

Darvond: That's not actually small at all. I've seen smaller.

snowkatt: links ?
id like to see that
More of a technicality, if anything.

Fairfox: R.I.P. early 2000s-era phonez. Perfect size! Nao they be either too small and like cheap toys, or are turning into silly, giant tablet-esque nonsense you put up to your face. I still has my Razr V3 <3. Teh heart is for L-O-V-E.
I wish you'd speak your gobbledegook to me whilst I pulled and pinched your cheeks, Foxette.

The brain surgery didn't go well.

snowkatt: so star trek tng then
avatar
Maighstir: Yup. And Star Trek have already predicted many future developments that became true.
I think Star Trek tech was more a reflection of common desires about what people wanted in the future than a new source of inspiration. There's a pretty consistent set of things people from the 50s on wanted in the future, and naturally the scientists who grew up in that era worked hard to make those dreams a reality.

That said, I'm still waiting for foldable tech. Forget whatever MS is trying to do with phone docks, a single piece of hardware that can be folded into different form factors for pocketability and large-screen gaming would be amazing.

I would have been disappointed if nobody had made that reference yet. It's the first thing that popped into my mind when reading the title.

That looks familiar, but I can't place it. What movie is that from?

Funny at the first few minutes. Simply annoying after some time.
Not a popular choice, unless you're in a prison, like Nirth said. It shouldn't be hard to hide this from the guards.
