I just found this trailer on youtube.

SPOILERS: It looks like Pokemon GO. I said it before, whatever helps CDProjekt keep the business going, all I care about is that GOG remains DRM-Free.

Milk the Witcher, milk it good...
Oh this has got to be a fucking joke. I never saw the point of this Pokemon GO type crap, but at least Pokemon is a franchise without any pretense of dignity to bein with.

You know what, I'm not even going to try and contain myself, I'm going full old man yelling at clouds here. I know, but come on.
Look at this guy in the trailer. Walking through a park/forest like that and on his phone all the damn time. Why are you even outside? I seriously feel like punching the guy. And his stupid hair-bun (seriously, makes anyone look like an idiot). I hate people like this.

I hope the whatever-is-the-english-name-for-leszy eats him.

It's clearly not a game aimed at us. And since there is a market for such game, I'm glad CD Projekt tries different things. Hopefully they can get a big hit, a live service cash cow, to keep a constant stream of cash flowing. That way developers can spend their time making proper games for the rest of us, who don't find value in most mobile games.

'Member when we used to get flack for staying indoors most/all of the time, playing video games? Not that I don't half-heartedly agree with you, but give the young'uns some space, alright? We need not agree or understand them to let them do their thing, as a generation.

Mobile gaming is a thing for a lot of people, whether we like it or not. Live and let live, I say.

Of course its just as likely, that once finding the easy cash cow there is no reason to put huge resource and risk into “proper games”.

as evident by the almost complete lack of PC games today

Of course, but CD Projekt has earned enough good will, to deserve a shot at being super rich. I never believed the saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely". In my experience it should be: most people seeking power, end up being corrupted by it. Not as quotable as the former.
Gotta kill them all. ;)

I just wish they at least used Cyberpunk for it and not the Witcher. Seeing great books reduced to... that is really kind of sad.
Mobile games typically fall outside my interest, but it's nothing to get upset about.
A Pokemon Go clone. During the COVID-19 pandemic.
Well done CD Projekt.

It's pretty much the same, just spelled a little differently.
Noclip has just released an investigation video on The Witcher: Monster Slayer.
