I just installed patch 1.01 3 times and the game still won't fire up. Click the application file directly in the folder and still won't do anything.

I don't see anyone else with this issue, so I figured I'd post about it.

Currently re-installing the game.

Thankfully I didn't delete the install files...

Some solution for this would be extremely helpful seeing as re-installing the game didn't help.

I fixed this by launching it through the GoG galaxy launcher one time then it started. Didn't need it the second time.

Same here, I clicked and nothing happens. Where do you get log crash?

Never got an auto-update for the game, didnt even know there was a new patch. Manuelly patched it and it starts and then after few seconds it crashes. Anyone else has this problem?

Are you guys all windows 8.1? Could it be?

Ok, I fixed it. Uninstall Galaxy Client, then
start cmd/powershell & execute the following:

sc delete GalaxyClientService
sc delete GalaxyCommunication

Can you please be more thorough? I'm having hard time doing this GAlaxy client is the GOG Galaxy?

? I'm about to install gog galaxy now.. hope it would help.. and you are saying uninstall it? I have not installed it and the game crashed..

So you don't have Galaxy and it still crashes? I have galaxy

I tried both with and without galaxy, along with doing Iashtal's instructions above, and the game still will not run.
