I have been trying to import my save and I just can't seem to get it working. The import save option doesn't even come up.

That's frustrating. There is also one other suggestion over on the Witcher 3 forum that might be worth trying: http://www.gog.com/forum/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt/faq/page1 (about halfway down the first post).

Thanks for trying to help, I tried that also. I ended up having to install witcher 2 to get it to work. So now all is good.
