It was actually announced in the Spring Sale post initially, but for some reason was edited out later.
Here is the snippet:

Yeah, I wouldn't have even known about this one if I hadn't seen it pop up on the bestseller list on the front page last night. ... Get your shit together, GOG! I swear, they make news announcements about some of the most trivial and inconsequential shit at times, but then don't post anything at all about something that may be of actual interest to people. GRRRRR!!!

While Miku as a character and her moveset don't add all that much, it's the addition of her own soundtrack for the entire game that makes it a lot of fun. Some real fun popping music right there. A pretty good value for such a low price.
