Okay. Got reply from their representative Jared Christen. He told me me that my account was permanently and irreversibly deactivated and "The account won't be re-activated no matter who at Valve or Steam Support you talk to. You will not hear back from our team or a Valve employee regarding this account ever again."

Well that's a very vague answer. The way it's phrased, I don't think we should jump to the conclusion that you are banned forever and never getting your account back.

After a lot of appeal it was overturned. Just let things cooldown for a bit and try a appeal later i doubt if it would work , valve usually reserve such bans in extreme conditions.

My question is why would you even test out such things especially with a steam account with that much games ? i am sure you would have gotten a similar ban on xbox live or psn for messing around their internals.

No, you got a permanent ban for bothering the mods, apparently hundreds of times. Just in this thread you've mentioned contacting them several times after they told you to stop, so I'm inclined to believe they're mostly in the right, here.

You were temp banned for abuse of forum mechanics, and again for misuse of the unlocking tool. But you were permanently banned because you were apparently annoying and harassing to the employees. You might not have deserved the second of those temp bans, but you absolutely earned the permanent one.

I have chatted with him many times on twitter , also supported revoking of his ban when it happened , The main difference is he did not annoy the mods or harass them continuously , just asked them to reconsider once and left at it .

Take my advise drop the witch hunt on them , let things cool off , maybe after you serve out your initial 6 months ban ask them again.

I still dont think the we are getting the full story here , valve only resorts to this level of banning and refusal of support for extremely unnatural cases , did you by chance threaten them ? legal threats ?
