"The Riftbreaker: Prologue" has tried and maybe succeeded to access two files on my computer.

C:\Windows\INF\input.inf
C:\Windows\INF\hidserv.PNF

I want to know what these two files are doing, and why did this game demo wanted with them.
If you know about these two files or if you know someone who does please help me I am very worried about this.

Well, input.inf is a text file, you can open with notepad and see what has changed.
As for the other:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/hid/selective-suspend-for-hid-over-usb-devices

I don’t know, it could be windows itself altering that file due to numerous things, such as directx input, hardware (did you plug in a controller maybe, maybe it’s a controller driver.
If i remember tomorrow I might check, but I doubt it’s anything untoward.
