LusoGamer: This year will be the 25th anniversary.

Come on, GOG. "Dew it!"
you do realise that gOg cannot just "dew it"? it depends completly on what Sony, as the right-holders of the game, want to do. you should eally go pester them if you want the PC version re-released.
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace returns to theaters this year, GOG don't miss the chance.

Wouldn't Disney be the one to pester?

In any case, I'm sure GOG is aware and trying; the game has 2749 votes, and the PC version sold over 300k copies back in the day.

You do realize the right-holders of the game is not Sony but Disney/Lucasfilm, which GOG already has a partnership with and therefore is in a better position to get the game here, since it already has 99% of their old catalog titles. By "dew it", I mean to do something to try to get the game on GOG via their existing partnership.

Did I really need to explain all this?

nope, the onky thing that is that who ever holdd the rights, gOg is not the rights holder and therefore cannot just /"dew it".

you do realise that whatever you aid there does not change my point?

Nobody said that GOG "can just do it". But they are in a better position than anyone else here to actually get the game here since they can talk and have an established partnership with the right holders.

I don't know why you decided to get pedantic over this and miss the point of the thread entirely. By your pedantic standard, there's no point in having a wishlist at all on GOG either, since GOG can't just do it simply by asking or wishing for games to be here, considering GOG doesn't own the rights of any game on their wishlist.

Come on GOG, it's the 25th anniversary.
Is Steam etc doing anything for the 25th Anniversary?

If it wasn't being worked on months ago, it is unlikely to happen now, though I suppose it could always turn out a secret surprise. Though how many would be enthusiastic about that I'm not sure.
