By the shining glory of the Pancreator we have been blessed to this day with an appearance of the Emperor of the Fading Suns on GOG.

Agents of the Eskatonic Order were quickly dispatched to procure 3 copies of this holy relic and hold a mass giveaway for 3 lucky nobles. They shall be anointed to come into possession of the valued artifacts.

The illuminatus had only a few points the nobles needed to agree to before submitting themselves and their participation post numbers to the holy hand of the Pancreator (random.org):

a) The nobles must manifest their intention to participate by posting a message saying: "Aye!"

b) The nobles must have been knights of GOG for at least one year. Accounts of nobles created in 2020 shall be swiftly excommunicated from this holy process, simply because of the horrors that number brings to memory.

c) Commit to at least one heresy and have the Inquisitors of the Celestial Church pay you a visit, just out of spite (yes, we of the Eskatonic Order still hold grudges). But ensure you have saved your progress before the heinous act, lest you enjoy being sent back to the dark ages for good.

d) Guard Stigmata with your lives against the symbiots,

e) The words set upon these pages may be strange to you. Nay, it may not make any sense at all! But you must take a sacred vow that it will - that you will immerse yourself in the lore of EFS by the sacrament of the holy artifact you shall receive. Consult the archives for more information.

The blessed ones shall be revealed on the next day dedicated to the glory of the Celestial Sun (next Sun-day).
Nay.

Gramercy for thy largesse.
aye.
as for heresy, I once had upconverted mp3s to wav.
By the God-Emperor of Dune! I have never seen this game before, but just by looking on the screens I could feel that people who worked on "Final Liberation" were responsible for it. I do not know if at some brief moment, during development this game was intended to be set in Frank Herbert's universe but it looks like it pays tribute to it.

I would love to be in, but - sadly - I have to say nay due to lack of critical resource: Time.

Act of heresy: Saying Nay to creative and interestingly looking 4x game. May Inquisitors show me mercy.

Not in. +1
Aye!

As for commiting heresy, I hereby pledge to do so in the realms of the fading suns. But not without going back to righteous ways afterwards.

But to be frank, I might even become a full-time Heretic would that game make an appearance here. Yet that, as they say, is a horse of a different color.

I thank thee for thy gracious magnanimity. May the suns of thy kingdoms never fade, but return to their erstwhile brilliance!
Brother Battle has issued another call to arms! (bump)
Aye! My act of heresy? I still do not have the proper backup of my data I'm working on since a few months... :/
Before I manage to turn everyone into real-life heretics, these acts need to be committed in game (by researching tech outlawed by the Celestial Church). The consequences are... worth experiencing at least once.

Ouch. I called for heresy, not self-flagellation :P.
Whan that Aprill with his shoures soote The droghte of March hath perced to the roote, And bathed every veyne in swich licour Of which vertu engendred is the flour; Whan Zephirus eek with his sweete breeth Inspired hath in every holt and heeth The tendre croppes, and the yonge sonne Hath in the Ram his half cours yronne, And smale foweles maken melodye, That slepen al the nyght with open ye, (So priketh hem nature in hir corages), Thanne longen folk to goon on pilgrimages, And palmeres for to seken straunge strondes, To ferne halwes, kowthe in sondry londes; And specially from every shires ende Of Engelond to Caunterbury they wende, The hooly blisful martir for to seke, That hem hath holpen whan that they were seeke.

Also, not in, but thanks!
Aye!

As for heresy... Well, for example, my favorite Fallout game is Fallout Tactics. Oh, and Fallout 2 is not even my second favorite Fallout game.

Is it heretical enough? (:
LOL! If WinterSnowfall thinks so highly of the game I guess I have to have a look at the game card, at the very least.

Not in as I have only scratched (~25--30h) last game you gave to me.
Nay, but alloweth the games beginneth!

Thanketh thee f'r the most wondrous gift. I wilt announceth to the w'rld the truth in existence is the fact yond star wars is the most wondrous comedian showeth i has't ev'r gazed!
I guess I never made the connection until now, since I hadn't read the book when I first played this game, but the setting distinctly reminds me of "A Canticle for Leibowitz".

Nobles who also undertake the task of reading this speculative gem will get a special reward: more synapses in their brains!

Nay! The Church will allow it, should you sign the Holy Writ and "donate" 5000 firebirds. :)

The soundtrack also has its highlights. This track has haunted me for years.

Speaking of heresies - this thread getting buried with only 3 days to go until the day of judgement. More nobles must know of this, by the will of the Celestial Church! (bump)
