Introduction (will edit posts later)
People have enjoyed my mini giveaway "pears" series. Honourable mention to Doc's mini giveaway series that inspired my idea.
It was originally a temporary holiday festive winter giveaway, but as more people enjoyed it, we had to extend it into the spring!
Even after I had closed the giveaway on April 1st, I still recently received PMs about the giveaway.
After receiving feedback and positive support, I have decided to run it as a casual giveaway for the community. Emphasis on casual.
My personal reason is so I could have a platform to run raffles for my extra keys too that aren't popular enough to be starred keys.
For Steam and GOG
Note:
I acknowledge that BenKii already has lovely raffles in the Community's GOG giveaway.
This is by NO means to replace that or any other giveaway.
BenKii has done a spectacular job. In fact, if you wish to give away a GOG game, and have someone else worry about the rest, BenKii is the purrfect catman for the job. He is very responsible, transparent and organized.
Purpose of this thread:
1. It accepts games from GOG and Non-GOG Games.
Self-explanatory here. I won't be linking to any other platform or storefront in compliant to GOG policy.
It is your responsibility to read about what game you're entering for and what platform it is intended for.
2. This thread is to offer another option for anyone who likes to see their game in a paired raffle (which I call "Pears").
Paired raffles follow a specific structure:
Each mini raffle will feature 2 games, and players can pick ONE out of the two games.
After 2 weeks, I spin the wheel and the winners are picked.
The close date may change depending on how many entries, but it would usually be set to 2 weeks by default.
Donors and participants: By donating or participating, you acknowledge that you have read this post, understand how the giveaway works, and accept its terms.
3. Lastly, this is more casual due to limitations such as game availability, time and real life responsibilities.
And since each raffle requires at least two games, raffles can only be hosted when at least two games are available.
Therefore, the raffle does not follow a set cycle.
It will depend on how many games are available to be distributed.
Personally, I do not expect that many.
How does this work?
