It wasn't all that bad. I mean, the Interplay promo was a pretty solid deal, and there were some nice surprise releases.

This. I wasn't planning to buy anything for a good while yet, but the Interplay promo is so good, I got a couple of games from my wishlist for next to nothing. And if I actually wanted to buy more stuff right now, I could easily get four or five more at quite good discounts. I'd much rather have sales like this than some gimmicky Insomnia bullshit.

Personally, I don't really care what sort of game they come up with as long as the price is right.
Y'know what I miss and wish I'd capitalized more on when it was here?
The mystery gift/piñata sales. That was a gold mine and I didn't even realize it.

No, I want a sale where I can take my sweet time to compare games, deals and make the best purchase. No mysteries, no hurry. But, to each his own. I'm stocked with games for now, so I have no problem with the next sale being so gimmicky even the 60's Batman villains would roll their eyes.

I mostly just liked it for the trading/giveaway potential.
I mean, $3 for a game that could be worth maybe $30? And if you don't like it, you just give it to somebody who will? Hard to go wrong there.

Yep, wishing for another sale since this one was pretty mediocre for me. Nothing bought since i had most of the games ,and on those i didn't have, the price just wasn't too tempting (50%)

Fairfox: It was a compilation of 'short' storieees. Involved looking for some dead kid. It wasn't act. horror, which was nice, altho looking for a dead kid is a bit grim, I guesses.
