Does anyone know what the recent update to System Shock Enhanced, currently only available on Steam, does, please? And any idea on when the GOG version will be updated with these fixes?

If you mean the 1.1.8 update we have that already.

No, we've had version 1.1.8 for a long time now. There is apparently a newer version, which has been available on Steam for a couple of weeks.

What fixes? You don't even know what it's about yet. Maybe the Steam version got some new and shiny extra DRM.

Apparently Steam did got a new relatively big update without any changelog. It appears to have added widescreen friendly UI/Menus between other things.

I'd not be worried. Steam has always been the sandbox for buggy releases prior to the stable GOG one.

I chatted to Steven Kick the CEO of Nightdive and he did assure me that the GOG version will get the update.
sorry I meant to post this yesterday but I got busy with yard work.
