Thank a lot for helping me out and taking time to go in details. As soon as you clarify these 3 settings I will report back my progress.

The wiki page just lists the files you need for ScummVM. For the GOG version you can do the following after installing ScummVM:

- run ScummVM to open the Launcher.
- in the Launcher window, click Add Game. This opens a file browser where you can add the game folder.

ScummVM will detect the game and you can run the game with the Launcher. As AB2012 indicated The Longest Journey is known for having problems to run on modern systems since Windows 7.

NA means Not available. I just don't have these settings.

Yes, Use the 3D application Setting.

If you have trouble getting the original game version to run, as an alternative (as toma85 mentioned earlier) you might consider installing the ScummVM engine which I believe supports The Longest Journey and should work well on current Windows versions.

(In fact, The Longest Journey HD mod for the game seems to be based on ScummVM.)

Har sett litt på det, men har ikke fått spillet til å kjøre på min maskin uten sourceport. Det beste er nok som de andre anbefaler, og bruke ScummVM. Det er veldig brukervennlig, og skal kjøre uten problemer på de fleste moderne maskiner. Er bare å klikke "legg til spill" og finne mappen du har installert GOG-versjonen av Longest Journey i, så skal det starte fra listen i ScummVM uten noe heft. Tror ikke innstillingene på RTX 3070en er problemet.

Da er vi enige at DLR går ikke an å kjøre uten ScummVM. Jeg har tested den det virker.

Er ikke norsk tale på GOG, Steam eller noen annen utgave solgt digitalt. Eneste mulighet blir å kjøpe det brukt på CD på Finn.no eller noe. Da blir det jo en eldre versjon enn den som selges her. Sjekket wikien til ScummVM, og det ser ut til at den tyske CD-utgaven skal funke. Er ikke 100% sikkert, men da går det kanskje med den norske også.
