I will get it if it even comes to be. Yet... I think that the spotlight for this game was during the PS3 era. If I remember correctly, ICO was meant to come to PSX but eventually made to the PS2... that explains why they could do a massive game with those "generation-transitional" graphics (which, to my own opinion, was the thing that gave a really unique feel to the game...Think of this like the now so popular "indie style" employed on modern hardware).
Shadow Of The Colossus was obviously a game that clearly pushed the PS2 into its limits and even though it had slowdowns here and there (fixed on the HD Collection), that kind of things made it a total masterpiece. I am sure that The Last Guardian won't be as pretty looking as many of us want it to be, yet its mechanics will be good enough if you haven't played "Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom" or "Papo & Yo".

So... TLDR: I feel that The Last Guardian won't be vaporware and definitely will get it "when it is ready", be it on the PS9 or VR HEADSET / Chip / Immersive Equipment of choice >;D
