Yeah, hving a broken leg sucks but hving a broken arm sucks even more I assure u. Trust me on that if that's any consolation, lol.

I also got injured during an accident almost a mth ago & 4 @ the past few wks I got 2 do everything with 1 hand which was pretty tedious. Even typing with 1 hand can get kind of tiring fast, not 2 mention troublesome. Worse was I can't even use the mouse, not 2 mention play any games @ all which makes me real sad. I wld rather hv broken my leg as @ least I could still play my games, that's y I said it's 'better off' with a broken leg than a broken arm. ;)

Just got my cast removed a few days ago & arm is still a bit stiff, I'm hoping 2 make a full recovery in another couple of wks 2 a few mths depending on how fast & well my injuries heal but sad 2 sad, a complete is not guaranteed. :S

Anyway, Not In. Just here 2 wish a fellow GOGer who got injured like me a quick & speedy recovery. All the best, take care & rest well. :)

You only said that because you didn't had a broken leg. At least you can still walk and go places if your arm was broken, now if your leg was broken you need to stay indoors or use crutches/wheelchair/cane. I've had my hand and legs broken, and I can tell you that it's worse having a broken leg than having a broken arm.

Not in, just wanted to say sorry to hear about your leg but on a positive note I now know what futsal is.

Thk u 4 ur well-wishes, however I didn't mentioned my leg was partially injured in the accident as well which cos me 2 walk with a slight limp 4 now (until it fully recovers that is. I hope?). It was worse the past few wks when I had trouble even walking that's y I said I know very well which is 'better'. Even if 1 has use crutches/wheelchair/cane the person STILL can travel around, albeit with more inconveniences. On the other hand, a broken arm means 1 can't even do simple things like bath, eat, dress & even groom 1self w/o hving a BIG problem so I wld hv 2 respectfully disagree. Then again, I uds & respect that diff ppl hv ppl opinion on which sucks more so I can only agree 2 disagree. :)

Anyway, it doesn't really matter which sucks more cos @ the end of the day hving either a broken arm or leg is nv a gd thing so I just 1 2 wish GOGers that r currently injured 2 get well soon & play more GOG games. ;D

Euh... One more month at least? Dunno, I saw my doc in early July, I'm not supposed to see him again until late August, and he wasn't really all that specific. For a minute there, I felt like kicking him in the "eggs", but then again, my leg was broken, so...

Actually, I looked only slightly better than that guy just after the incident. Except it was my right leg, and I'm handsomer. Also, for those of you that still haven't clicked that link, my advice is: don't. Unless you enjoy cringing, that is.

That's a good point you're raising there, sir. I've been fiddling around, and it seems I'm only able to gift Steam keys, even though some of the games did have a DRM-free version and/or soundtracks/other goodies. Maybe I would have needed to gift the whole bundle they were contained in in order to gift those? I don't know, maybe someone more versed in Humble Bundle stuff can clear it up for us. If there is a way to gift the DRM versions as well (which I already owned anyway), I will definitely do so. For now, though, it's only Steam keys unless otherwise stated.

Oh, did you actually want me to? O.K. then: So we were just ten minutes in on our weekly friendly futsal game. I'm a goalkeeper, and the other team was skillfully circulating the ball around my penalty area, until it came to one of their players getting it, unopposed, just on the penalty line. So I had been following play closely and I thought "oh, no, you don't!". I was confident that I could rush him and anticipate his shot, so I started a sprint towards him and, just before I reached him, we all heard a loud crack, I felt a stinging pain, and I could barely roll over and lie on my back as I fell. My hopes of it being less serious than it looked lasted just until I confirmed that I could not move my leg. And when I looked at it... well, it wasn't pretty. I intended to run just up to him, then slide on both legs so as to block the goal for him. I had already stretched my left leg, but for some reason the right one got stuck instead of sliding. It sucks because I've made that move hundreds of times, but hey, shit happens. Still hoping I can get back to the pitch in a few months, but it's not a priority.

Well, Bler144 already entered for it, but nothing ensures that no one else will want it. You may just wait and see how many people enter for it, then decide if you want to lower their chances or not. I won't count you for now, so make another post if you want to be in for that or any other game.

If only! I guess I should have specified whether it was O.K. to enter for someone else. I shold really do more giveaways so I don't make these rookie mistakes. Then again, I see no reason not to allow it, so whatever.
