Green_Hilltop: That's great then, I imagined it as a more slow, solo based matter due to your earlier description. I probably won't be making a wizard anyway ...
Ixamyakxim: If I end up in this and you do want to roll a wizard I wouldn't mind teaming up. Actually, let that be a standing offer - if anyone out there wants to roll a "squishy" character I'd be open to making a "mini-party" with one or two others!
Again, if I end up doing this I'd even be willing to build a character together (I CAN be stubborn when it comes to flavor and I tend to dislike pure min/maxing but I'd love to get a good dialogue going along the lines of "Hey, maybe a Paladin or Bard would go really well with this Fire Sorc I have in mind...")
Thanks for the offer, I was actually thinking of going for a Cleric, Druid or some kind of Fighter because after spending countless hours in Baldur's Gate with a Fighter/Mage I don't like how you get just two spells at level one and once you use them that's it until you rest again, I like having a wide array of spells or abilities to depend on (or a non-squishy character if you don't have many). I know gaining a level every half an hour should make it better but since I'd still have to survive the first half an hour and from then on still juggle a handful of spells I think I'll go with the easier alternative (for me, as I don't have much experience with higher level wizards, so I wouldn't be sure which spells are the best pick).
Cleric and Druid aren't much of a squishy character though, but if you're up for teaming up with me (or anyone else), I'm all for it! :)
Tallima: I will do my best to let you know about Cleric's domain bonuses before play time.
Our old forums are long gone, but zetaboards still holds onto the forums we used ages and ages ago. It has a map and a few notes about changes. Not all are relevant (like, for instance, the death system was completely reworked). There is a map in there that is very handy.

Awesome, thanks! :)
Oh yeah, how does resting work for all the characters? If one person rests do they have a fast-forward and can immediately join the party or is it real-time, so when the wizard rests the whole party has to wait unless they want to leave him behind? Because I haven't played a multiplayer game in NWN before, so the fast-forward blackout resting from the single-player is hard to imagine as otherwise all characters would probably constantly live in a different time unless they rested at exactly the same time, so I'm imagining it's either the instant rest that doesn't take any time, or the real-time resting where you sit or wait for a few seconds and then get up like in most modern MMORPGs.
