help please!

The store says that the game is availabe now, it's 1:20 am in my region so I should be able to patch the game and play it...

But GoG galaxy behaves like it's not. I heard people are already downloading the day one patch but for me ... Nothing... Play button is still greyed out, no patch download... Says "waiting for release".

Am I the only one? Is this normal?

Note : I got the game for free through a Nvidia gift promotion. They gave me key, used it in GoG. Game installed. Everything seemed fine. See it in my library so...

Still can't play it.

Give it a bit of time folks, GOG's servers are probably swamped. It might take time for your caches and such to clear.

Yep mine is completely broken too. I restart GOG galaxy and it tries to update for a split second but switches back to "waiting on release" or "release in less than an hour." I got the patch manually from the site but it can't find my install directory even though it's the default one so it fails.

Good thing this game does not have DRM so you can just install and start it. *doh*

It's very strange because GOG Galaxy updated the game 1 solid hour before release... and I could play one hour before release !! Guess I was lucky this time.

I deleted gog galaxy and cleaned my registry of it, then I rebooted and reinstalled gog galaxy and imported my folder for the preload. Same thing happened -- it pretends to start downloading something after a brief "updating" message and goes to a "Release in less than an hour message" I have no clue.

Ok well, I found a quick fix.

Simply don't use GOG Galaxy. Go the GOG website, login, Access your game library, there you'll see different installation files... At the very bottom of that list of files, you'll see the day one patch necessary to start the game They've just added it).

Install that exe file, launch it. Then try to launch the game from your desktop short cut (not with GoG galaxy).

Game should launch perfectly. GoG galaxy might still need some work, but the beauty of it is ZERO DRM. So as long as you download the patch manually as I explained, you can play the game.

You clicked .exe and it launched? Mine doesn't do anything when I double clicked it
