Anyone here watching this show? It's probably the best space-opera type sci-fi show I've seen since BSG. Feels very "realistic" in it's depiction of space travel etc, has decent characters, also the diplomatic stuff between Mars and Earth is interesting.

Other things I like:
Belter haircut
Martian military uniforms
Didn't know about this series until now .
It's on Netflix if you have that.
I'm waiting for the season 3 \o/

Will it ever come to non-drm telly?
After the first season, which was amazing, I picked up the book, which was even more so. I'm currently binge-reading the series (gave up on the TV show), and so far anyone I recommended the book to loved them. From what I've been told by those who finished watching the second season, it appears that the two seasons were covered in the first book. With five books so far, there's plenty of material for a decade of TV programming.
I have watched the first two seasons and quite enjoyed it. It gives a BSG feel. The story is intriguing and there is a great effort to depict the three different cultures (Earth, Mars and the Belt). If I had to criticize something, I'd say most characters lack a certain "spark" to make them stand out, and too many episodes in the first season were mostly about travelling from point A to point B, but the second season was a step in the right direction with the introduction of the Martian storyline and more complex character dynamics.

I've seen both seasons and I agree with you. The only thing I really want to see is more of Mars itself, as in the planet and how people live.
I like it - pretty decent series and i really like the focus on politics. Only thing i dislike a bit is that the rocinante crew seems to have a really strong plot atmor and sometimes it seems a bit forced that they end up at certain locations - would maybe a bit better if they somehow were part of 1 of the bigger schemes and not that independent imho. Can't really comment on how i like the increasing scifi elements - that really depends on season 3 - but so far i feel it was a bit unnecessary to include it (protom...) and the series would have worked perfectly fine anyway

Now that's a pathetically low set bar. That's barely a step up from comparing it to the Star Wars Holiday Special :D

Anyway, I've only seen the first season so far. It was ok. Nothing great, nothing mind blowing, but not bad. Just a bit too generic. It could use some more charismatic leads and more stand-out designs and music, because so far even though not bad it's rather bland.

What's wrong with BSG (with the exception of the poor ending)?

Horrible writing, utter lack of sense or logic, unbearable pretentiousness, no likeable characters to get even slightly invested in and some of the worst acting I've ever seen.
