+1 to you for your thoughtfulness!

On a personal level, I am very concerned by what is happening, but I'm not in a state of frenzied panic. Maybe it's because the shit has yet to hit the fan here in Canada, but I know tougher times are coming soon. I am more worried about family in Italy at this time. It's crazy what's happening there and one of my cousins has a fragile immune system. I'm also worried about my Mom, who is of a certain age. And a couple of friends of mine who work in hospitals and community centres. So as far as the virus is concerned, I am more preoccupied about the people I know than I am for myself.

Unlike most of my friends who are able to work from home and who have plenty of cash stashed away in savings, I am more scared of the economic impact of this situation than I am of the virus itself, because I live paycheck to paycheck and missing one day of work for me is bad news. If my employeur decides to shut shop or if I fall sick, then I don't know what I'll do. My employeur is not the type to care for its employees. If it comes to that, hopefully the government will compensate us if we are forced to stay home.

Not in, for the sole reason that I already own most of the wonderful games you're giving away. ;)

Good luck to all participants. Above all, wishing you health, courage and strength!

(In a surreal sense, I feel like this international threat has somewhat united all of us, in that we all share the same fears and fragilities and we're all hoping things will get better.)
In France, the situation is similar to the one in Spain, except that there is local election today and my Government asks people to go to vote, but to stay at home for the other circumstances. How cynical !

Not in, but thanks for your generosity, Korotan and Gamerager.

I do hope only those who are directly impacted get something from this specific thread (not in btw).

My city along with some others just now announced that we're on a semi-lockdown state so there's that. Spare some thoughts for those that incomes comes from semi informal business or those who work on small companies just trying to make ends meet.
I live in Russia and here things developing like in Iran. The authority pretends that nothing is happening because there are gonna be elections next month and they need people to show up there and vote. We have plenty of people that already died from corona but all this cases reported as "heart failure" accidents. The situation around here is grim and i rarely leave my home as of late.

Just for information guys. You have only 12 hours before it is lockdown. So if you want to participate or change your choice, now is last chance.
Hi Korotan and company. I´m from Spain and as other compatriots said we are in Quarantine, all the country. During the next fifteen days minimum we only can go by the streets to buy food, medicines, go to banks, gas stations or walking the pets. Schools and the majority of jobs are closed. Only yesterday was about one hundred deads and 1.5k infected. It´s not a joke, it´s important that messures be respected to not collapsed hospitals.

Fortunately Spain has a Medical system that could be the better system in the world, but the Government and people must take control to beat coronavirus. I have hope this will pass in a couple of months, at least if this bug not support the 40º C in summer.

I would be in for System Shock™ 2 game, if i may.
In my state there has been no community transmission, but that hasn't stopped measures being introduced that are just short of a state-wide lockdown.

There is an official ban of social activities involving 500+ participants. Sport is out, theatre is out. People are voluntarily cancelling everything involving more than a dozen people.

Foreign travellers must undergo mandatory isolation. It hasn't been extended to interstate travellers, but it is only a matter of time, as community transmission is occuring in other states.

People are panic buying at supermarkets. Like everywhere else they are rationing toilet paper, but it now extends to flour, rice and pasta. Even lowly vegetables like potato are in danger of running out.

I'm not in as I'm not significantly affected. My employer will survive and quarantine leave is paid where work-from-home is not available.

I can't begin to image the uncertainties facing those in the hospitality or entertainment industries.

It won't be over in fifteen days. I'm pretty sure Sánchez will keep it up for 4-5 weeks. During this time they'll figure out how to deal with tourists.

Everyone here understands that quarantine is necessary (we already had #YoMeQuedoEnCasa - english: #IStayAtHome - before quarantine). But... It's mid of March, temperatures are rising and everyone is eager to go out and get some sun. The Spanish aren't made to live inside, but they accept that it is necessary to prevent a collapse of our health system*. What they won't accept is another weeklong quarantine right after this weeklong quarantine. I'm pretty sure the spanish and italian governments are already discussing how to go on after quarantine. They have to find a way to handle tourism. We need tourists, but we can't go into quarantine all the time to have two week long mini-seasons between being locked in.

*Here's a video from yesterday. At 10pm the whole country was thanking the doctors and medical staff for their hard work to keep us safe.
I'm only indirectly impacted; confirmed cases are not within my area. (yet… and I sure hope it stays that way)
Still, there are preventive measures being enforced: curfews, thermal scanners, social distancing, etc.

Negatives aside… here's something I find favorable:
I like how this disease taught/forced people to practice good personal hygiene.
I mean, some folks don't even wash their hands before meals — parasites be damned.
Though probably unlikely, hopefully these sanitary habits would stick post COVID-19 outbreak.

Thank you for the giveaway.
I'm in for Anno 1701 A.D.
I am traveling in Europe right now, I am in Greece and must go to most Balkan countries after that if I am allowed. Everyone was out partying on Friday night and now it is so quiet it's scary. You can't find antiseptic gel they only sell 60ml bottles for 4 euro or more and the simple masks are 1.5 euro each. Tomorrow they will control how many people go in shops to buy food and groceries i don't know how they will do this and if people will panic and start reacting. I'm staying in until the storm passes. I want to go to Africa :D hot weather kills the virus they say. I'm in for Dishonored Definitive Edition, thanks.
In my country the positive cases of Corona Virus have been increasing day by day. The government has also implemented a lot of restrictive measures. As the suspension of visits in hospitals, waxing of discotheques, schools, bars ... The population is scared and everything hopes that this virus begins to be solved.

In for: Anno 1404: Gold Edition.

Quarantine is necessary, but the world should be in quarantine 2 month ago before it's getting worse like it is right now. If they did it, we probably don't have all those people infected and they'll have more time to spend trying to find a cure than curing people. Hope they find a cure quickly to save those who are infected and prevent the others to be infected.
My plan during quarantine.

Things to do while in quarantine,
> get ebook apps
> learn new language
> learn to cook
> do exercise, you can do full body workout without equipment
> and of course play games
Whatever you're doing just make sure that you're interested in it and you want to do it. Oh and if you're Italians, Pornhub is giving Italians free premium access during Coronavirus Quarantine.

The shopping list,
> get things you can freeze and could easily cook such as microwavable foods and frozen meals
> canned foods are essential; soups, broths, things you'll want to eat if you're not feeling well, also get some canned fruit and vegetables
> get dry foods; cereals, breads, nuts, crackers, things that you'll eat on when you finally feel ready to eat something more than soup but aren't going to upset your stomach
> you'll want liquids as well; water, fruit juice and pedialyte to help stay hydrated
> medicine; pain relievers, cold remedies, vitamins, all the staples
> household goods; dish soap, disinfectant, laundry soap, toothpaste and regular soap
Check what you have around the house there's a good chance that you already have much of what you need at home.

It's the end of the World as we know it and I feel fine.
