Thanks for taking part in our grand Vacation Quest, adventurers!



UPDATE: Wow. These have been two wild, adventurous, exciting weeks! More than 1000 deals going for up to -90% were made available throughout the Summer Sale, and you definitely showed them lots of love. Most hugs were given out to The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine and Wild Hunt, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, System Shock: Enhanced Edition, Shadowrun Hong Kong & Dragonfall, Pillars of Eternity + Expansion Pass, and Day of the Tentacle Remastered.

The most prominent huggers were featured in our XP Leaderboards and, after a suspenseful race, Hardman77, rwoodsmall, and leonmerts managed to secure the top three spots. Congrats, you guys, hope you enjoy the spoils!
If you want to know where you stand, you can still go to your experience page, and check the list of glory. The page will remain open for one more month, until July 22, so make sure to also redeem your free games until then.

Last but not least, our two GOG Plays events got our Twitch community all hot and bothered, as more than 50.000 unique viewers joined the madness, which peaked at over 1300 concurrent watchers. Objectives were completed, XP boosts got handed out, and fun times were had by all.

Treasure: And I came in here precisely to ask something similar -when they say "add 10 new games", do they mean newly released or just "add those 10 random items that don't interest you in the wishlist" which kind of games the system thusly?

Nope, you get the XP immediately – and you won't lose it if you clear out your wishlist afterwards.

BlackThorny: Will thee be a workaround for those that already have the entire list of remaining titles on their wishlist? Or those that have ALL the titles minus the recently released ( < 10 ) titles? :P
Remove ten games > add those games back in?
That should work in theory, although I haven't tested it myself.

As for helping you guys out, I'll just let a friend of mine know that SOMA is currently on sale. That ought to net you a purchase.

All the discounts will remain active until the end of the sale, right? Would be great if that were the case, I don't want to waste all my money just yet, in case New Vegas should make an appearance during this salee.

As in is it better to wait till the last day just in case, or once it gets X% discount is that it?
We'll keep adding new games / bundles to the promo, but the discounts on already available titles will not change!

Yes, they will stay all the way!

Basically, we are not removing ANYTHING during the sale.

What's the recommended amount of time to wait between making transactions? I've gotten nailed by automated anti-fraud more than once in the past and have no desire for it to happen again.
To work as an anti-fraud measure, it kinda has to not be public knowledge. That said, PM me please – I'll give you the necessary pointers. :)
