I've been looking forward to the Galaxy client since I first heard about it late last year. At long last, I just got my first GoG game and entry into the Beta client. I have to say that I really like the client! The client looks great and so far has worked as I would expect. I was very happy to see some free games come up on my library, and especially glad to see Beneath a Steel Sky since it's one of my favorite games from my childhood.
I'm really enjoying the ability to start my client in my Library. When I load the client, I'm doing it to play a game. It's nice to not be immediately sold to when I want to play a game. I also especially like the library being visible to me when I'm in the store. It's those small touches.
One recommendation I have, move all the settings to one place. I had to search the forums to figure out how to change my install location only because I didn't realize there were two settings pages: One accessed from the menus at the top and one accessed from the cog in the bottom of my library. It would be nice for all the settings to be accessed from a single menu, even if there are multiple ways of accessing that menu.
Thank you again and it's looking great!
