Ahello,
I was wondering if any GOGers here own Tabletop Simulator on Steam? (btw, it's currently half off) I guess it might be fun to have a game or two some time with semi-acquaintances. I myself only got the game last night so I'm still getting used to the controls, but I did already play Cards Against Humanity for a while with some random dudes, and it was fun! I also downloaded a few titles from the Workshop (Love Letter, Afrikas Stjärna and Pictionary). Love Letter and Pictionary in particular might be fun.
Yup. It's quite fun. I'mma need another copy of it though. :S
I thought you meant something like

I watched all the secret hitler stuff on TB and thought it sounded great. They seemed to really love it.

I'm just a little repressed for all that. The service / product itself looks really good though.

Ditto. I'm not comfortable enough socially to enjoy playing that and similar games. Though I certainly wouldn't mind joining in on some game where I do not have to try deceiving the other players to act in my favour, or figuring out what their motives are.

Also, yeah, I do own the application.

I actually created one game for Tabletop Simulator. It hasn't been publicly released yet and only tested it with myself a few times. It is a two-player card called Carade where it is like a martial arts styled card game I came up with.

While I have yet to test it with another player, I might release the card game or even host a server at some point. In the future, I'll improve the design of the cards.
I don't have it. I won it once on steamgifts, but it was the only time I've ever been stiffed.
Here's the wishlist entry.
Bleh. I don't get the appeal. I rather play the real deal with real people. Yes, that's right, y'all are just figments of my imagination. =P

Well, let me put it this way. One of your friends is in Korea, one of your mates is in Manchester, and another is in Wisconsin. How are you going to organize game days with physical boards? Or heck, what if you just want to play poker without the gambling?
Tabletop Simulator is a nice way of testing out games of your own design. Heck, I thought about bringing some game ideas that can be played in real-life into Tabletop Simulator.

If you want, I'll be happy to test it sometime :)

Btw, I'm pretty amazed by how much (and how great) content people have created for this game. And as far as community goes, I only have positive experiences so far; everyone seems to be super nice. I played Love Letter and Codenames with a small group of people, and holy crap, Codenames looked damn nice! There was an awesome looking table cloth, each card looked crystal clear, and it was well put together. I'm really happy with my purchase :)

I must try to get my friends to play Eldritch and/or Arkham Horror some weekend...

Sure thing, when I get a chance to host it. :)
