I know gog's forum probably isn't the best place to ask for this, but since I trust you guys to know things beyond my knowledge, here I am, asking.

I really enjoyed Starbreeze's Syndicate Reboot and recently reinstalled it. While I may find some time to play through the campaign again, I was more interested in playing a bit of the multiplayer levels. The problem is that I can't find anyone to play with.

Is there somewhere where I should look first to see if I can find anyone? I'm not much of a multiplayer guy so I don't know how to locate the "scene" for practically abandoned games like this one (if they happen to exist at all).

Dude... first of all sorry for necroposting but this seems a tad appropriate: I found myself yesterday looking for the same thing. It's a cool game, yes, and much like the Shadowrun fps thingy I can say it has a tiny cult following. Both are nice reboots imho and the latter was even included in the backwards compatibility thing on the Xbone. Huzzah.

Secondly it seems that the Syndicate lobby is a complete wasteland. I'm also not your online guy but I kinda wanted to try this one out and -apparently- it's the opposite case of its "conjoined twin" Shadowrun who has a somehow active community.
Tried several periods of time the other day to absolutely no avail. Wonder if they'll keep the servers running. Again, great game if you ask me.
ps: we should do some Syndicate pvp sometime! heh

Yeah, in the end, I gave up. As SuperBunnyHop says, games nowadays are sorely lacking bots.

The thing with Syndicate is that its main campaign, even though it is fun, it really misses the point of the original games. While the multiplayer levels simply nail it. It's a lot of fun, but you can't play it with bots just with other people. And that's a shame.

Titanfall 1 is another game that severely misses bots in my opinion.
All the bots moved to MMOs :-(

Yeah, where are those guys that would go a long way making unofficial bots for games? T_T
