It seems to be December 1 this year! There's even a Steam page (no GOG page though D:). I have waited so long for this. Syberia is THE point and click adventure game for me so yeah, this hits hard at home. Finally getting the third installment that I've waited for.

I will buy it when it comes here, still need to play the first two games though. I have avoided learning much about the game but seen some screenshots and it looks good.

the first two games in the series are brilliant, I hope they wont turn the third part into a "cinematic" adventure thats more like a film/interactive_novel than videogame.

OMG Syberia 3! As many here know Syberia was my first point and click adventure that got me hooked on them. I have played many games since but they only remind me how great the Syberia games were. Really looking forward to this. I thought I heard before that the 3rd game was going to be for a console only so it is great that it will be for pc as well.

Just watched the announcement trailer. It looks alright, but every time 'cinematic experience' is put forth to describe an adventure game I become wary. Also, seeing that the Microids of today doesn't have the greatest track record is a sign of caution for me. Still, I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised.

I suppose there's a better than average chance of it appearing here due to Anuman and Microids being already on GOG.

That. Syberia was one of those games that was very high on the emotional feel and impact - end the ending was part of that. That feel is really hard to capture in the games - I've played other Benoit Sokal's games (Amerzone and Paradise) and they did not reach the same level as Syberia, especially the later Paradise. The problem is, take that element from Syberia and you will end up with a rather average point-and-click. Well, let's hope for the best and wait for December. Worst case, we can always blame "the third sequel syndrome." Master of Orion player would know what I am talking about.

I really need to replay the first two to prepare me for the 3rd one.
