darthspudius: We get that when it's both extremely warm and cold here. Drives us nuts. My throat is swollen shut right because of the dry heat.
In UK? Odd, I thought you generally have lots of humidity in your air due to sea, regardless of the weather. And it doesn't usually get that cold in the winter where the air really dries up, like -10 C or lower, right?
Here the warmer it is, the more moisture there is in the air (and the less itchy my skin is). Like now that it is around +30 C, the air feels quite humid even without any rain. Yeah I guess in Arab countries or something it is hot and dry, I haven't really experienced that. Besides Thailand, I haven't been in other hot countries (the southest besides that was in southern France twice, but that was in October or so). EDIT: Errr, no, I have been once also in Israel, but that was in January. +20C then though regardless of the season.
The colder it is, the worse it is to my skin here, dryer and dryer. When I go to Thailand where the humidity is usually very high, my skin likes it the best.
