believe it or not the surface pro 3 is more capable then you think
especially if you have an hd 4400 or an hd 5000 video card

those are about on par with a midrange 2012 radeon

ive managed to run
burnout paradise
street fighter x tekken
dirt 2
dirt 3 complete edition
hyper dimension neptunia
saints row 2 3 and 4
and oblivion on a an ultra book with an i7 8 gig of ram and an hd 4400

What kind of games do you like?

Anyway, the one game I played and thought "hey, this would be cool on a touchscreen" is Kingdom Rush.
As ZFR said, depends what you would like. I switched as well a few months back to a windows tablet as I wanted maximum mobility and you can actually play a lot of games.

What I found:
- Turn based are super touch friendly, majority can be easily played and are usually not so system intensive anyway, stuff like heroes 3, disciples 2 etc.
- Top down action rpg (like diablo 2), a lot work fine but a bit wonky to play as they usually rely on the idea of a cursor staying in the same part of the screen while the character moves, so it gets a bit wonky if you want to click on something.
- First person - you would need a virtual gamepad but can be done, I guess it's a matter of getting used to a game pad layout vs a keyboard one. I played minecraft a bit like this and it works. You will need to be a bit careful of the system requirements as some have steep ones, also a question of how many keyboard shortcuts you need.
- Platformers - same as first person, the virtual game pad could work quite ok.
- RTS, did not try it a lot but it could work quite ok as well I guess. Main thing seems to be to get used to scrolling with the mini map, probably a bit difficult to control if you need to jump through different squads etc (no shortcuts), but doable.
- Games with only keyboard input are usually turn based or step based (stuff like dwarf fortress, adom, etc) - these can be easily played as you basically have the game in a window and the touch screen keyboard out, restricts a bit the size of the game but it worked fine for me.

I hope it helps. If you have a specific type of games in mind, or type in mind it might help to narrow down a bit more.
Well, I'd follow that "this looks good on a tablet" idea lol

Altough the Surface has it's keyboard, anything that relies mostly on Touchscreen would be great!

Like a 4x4 Strategy game.

Tried Haegemonia but can't but that think working on Windows 10... :|

The Darkest Dungeon looks like it would fit perfectly!

must dungeon crawlers would work i think

cant say im thrilled about touch screen though my ultrabook has one
and it mostly just annoys me
Hmm can't vouch for windows 10 as I have 8 on mine, but strategy games I tried and worked fine:

Turn based: Civ 3, birth of the empires, heroes 3, disciples 2, age of wonders shadow magic.
RTS: not really a big fan of it , only played in space rangers a game but it worked fine.

EU Rome I would not recommend in case you are interested in a grand strategy game, it seems to have a weird mouse set up in which if you use touch screen it first clicks and then moves the cursor which makes it difficult to play (the only game where I've seen this happen ...)

This is just what I tried myself, I would guess a lot more can work just fine as strategy games seem more touch friendly to me. I would advise though to keep a close eye on the system requirements and as well consider the mobility you want to have with it as well, if you want to play on battery a game that uses your processor to max it will eat your battery up quite fast ...
