Our Winter Sale has just started with the release of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (on a -32% discount), avalanche of 6000+ discounts going as high as -90%, special SEGA Bundles ( Warhammer 40K and Endless™), GIVEAWAY of Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager!

But besides all the great days that are available, we never forget about a topic that’s extremely important to us – games preservation.

That’s why, during the Winter Sale we’ve once again teamed up with The Video Game History Foundation, a non-profit organization, with a team composed of veterans of the industry, that has made its mission to bring video game history back to life.

By purchasing The Video Game History Foundation Supporter Bundle (available until December 20th, 2 PM UTC), you can support this noble cause and ensure that the games, which have brought excitement, joy and countless memories to generations of gamers around the world, will be cherished for years to come.

The Supporter Bundle includes three great classics: Wasteland 1: The Original Classic, The Last Express, The Manhole: Masterpiece Edition, and all proceeds go to game preservation initiatives.

Let’s keep making games last forever, together. Happy Winter Sale!

Pray explain, instead of insinuating.
high rated
I know people will dislike my comment, but has anyone even asked "Whats the point?". Its not like we can use anything of their collection, any different than me begging for free money and stuff to line my own collection. Stating its historical while not being able to let anyone have free access to it all is less than historical or altruistic.

Unless Im wrong and I can use all their stuff for free. Then color me ignorant once more.

I just did.

"His colleagues" narrows that down to an incredible level of ambiguity. I could say that a colleague of Joey Kuras once claimed to have done most of the gruntwork for all the soundtracks he worked on, and that doesn't make things any clearer either.

So cut it with the vagaries, direct statements or clear off.

I had no idea you were such a defender of elitists. Ha ha!

I'm not, but you're being rather a [derogatory] about the matter, by dancing around the issue instead of literally telling me what the issue actually is.

STOP INSINUATING.

Again I already mentioned why I have an issue with them. Go back and read what I posted.

I asked you to explain, Rumpelstiltskin. I'm not in the mood for riddles. Elaborate, I even asked you.

Since you missed it and refuse to re-read: "You should read what his colleagues say in interviews about gaming. They feel video game preservation should just be an American thing."

Yes, that told me nothing. You told me to embark on a quest to find interviews which may or may not exist anymore to essentially indulge in hearsay.

I don't need to prove anything to you. What are you, their PR assistant?!

you cannot just ssume people have the same knowledge as you do, I have no idea what you were talking about. all I know is that you made some wild accusations, did not qalify them nor explain them. if you are not able to do so, then Hitchens's razor will very much strike again.

Oh here we go...

No I am going to bat for physical media in retail stores. It appears you guys have an issue with that? Also since you can't be bothered to look. Try to defend this and leave me alone:
