Hello,

I have a question about the summer sale process for which I didn't find answer in FAQ : is there a chance that an offer be better until the end of summer sale ? Or if it is sale reduced now it will not change until the end ?

e.g: a game having -40% now could have a -60% in a few days ?

Regards

I would say its unlikely, there have been instances in the past where a game becomes cheaper after a sale has finished - baldurs gate enhanced for example had a special and then a few weeks after was discounted further, but I don't think they would do it in the same sale as that would really piss off early purchasers.
A blue stated the discounts will stay the same during the sale.
Even Valve figured out that adding further discounts as the sale goes on just makes people wait until the last day instead of buying on the spot. And people tend to spend more if they buy a little every day rather than all at once at the end, so giving extra discounts has gone out of favor.
OK thanks a lot so I should not wait and take opportunities now :D

Good post, there's my psychology lesson for the day.
What is more likely is that a game that is not on sale now gets a discount further down the sale, or that some games get out of sale earlier. Some IP holders may limit the number of days during which their games are offered at a discount
