almabrds: Oh, you're just a troll, I should've guessed...
Evil_Genious: No, you high reputation people who hang out in EVERY SINGLE THREAD preying on the noob's are the trolls. Doesn't mean I don't like GOG, I just now know why everyone say's the things they do about it x)
That's not it at all.
You have to have posts that are:
a) Helpful
b) Interactive
c) Humorous
d) Not rude (unless it's clear you're making a joke... for instance my last 2 posts might be considered rude by some however I believe TinyE would have no problems calling me out if he was actually bothered & hence the posts are generally ignored by others)
With out those your rep growth will be 1 per post; having one or 2 rep & a join date of this time period kind of indicates you're one of the many scammers using an alternate account.
Take my account for instance: I have a low rep of only a hundred and fifty or so even though I've been on GOG since around 2009.
That's because until recently I wasn't posting as much because I don't fully trust GOG as a store after their whole "we're shutting down" bull they pulled. I've only recently started posting more because a couple things caught my attention. (Also I'm supporting DRM free a bit more after loosing about 60 or so games to Gamestop shutting down the impulse store, Direct2Drive being sold 4 times & bloody Desura not accepting my password.) You however went right to one that gives things for free which indicates you might be actually familiar with the forums.
However I could probably get a boost to my rep by starting a game software support thread.... such as explaining all the different Glide & Direct3D wrappers there are... I haven't see such a thread off hand (though there's many I haven't seen) & since it'd be helpful to have a review of the 9 or 10 wrappers you can use on old games I'd probably accumulate rep faster.
