So I get an email earlier saying that a game on my wishlist is on sale -Sweet!!
I check it out and I see Starbound regularly sold for $14.99, now... $14.99??

Ah well, I chalk it up to 'some other games on my wishlist are on sale, the email must have meant them'

I get a new email re: "Summer Love" and Starbound is included on the Subject line.
I think 'hooray, it must have just been prematurely mentioned in the earlier email!'

I click the link (to 'special_promo_batman_no_mans_sky_starbound_we_happy_few') excitedly

...still $14.99
: (

What gives?

Well, thing is that these emails are not reliable. They sometimes arrive way too early or way too late or just because of some bug in the system.

It's just a regular news letter thing.
If there is no discount mentioned in mail then there is no discount with that game.
Like Batman has 10% pre-order off but Starbound don't have any discount.
