Hi fellow GOG members,

I have just discovered this great site, installed GOG galaxy and recommended it to many of my friends.
Who are all very enthusiastic, however GOG does not have all the old and gold games, which is understandable.
But I was wondering how games get selected and/or added to the pool of games GOG has?

The following is just an idea, if it is not allready reality.
I would love for a setting on the site or galaxy that once a month people can submit one game for the GOG gaming pool.

For instance my friends and I would love the to play the 'Command and Conquer' series together, however if I am not mistaken it is not available in the GOG gaming pool.
So I hereby submit the 'Command and Conguer' series to be added to the GOGpool!

Gr,
Inno

Yeah, check out the link above, search for Command & Conquer and add your vote. But in the end it all depends on who's owning the license to the games and whether they're traceable and willing to partner up with GOG.

Or whether they (EA) want to restrict the sales of their game in their store (Origin).
Allright, thanks guys!
Looking forward to play with the GOG community!

Funny story about that. A year ago I bought the retail version of Command & Conquer: The First Decade, it was a 32-bit version and required a lot of work to make every game compatible with Windows 7.
One day I came across the 64-bit version, made for Windows 7. Just before I was ready to get it again, I know, crazy, I saw many people complaining that it required Origin in order to play. That moment I did a lot of research, tried many patches, fixes and in the end made every game work on Windows 7 and in Linux, using PlayOnLinux.
The main problems were: crashes, menu freezing, Zero Hour asking for CD 2 (there was only one disk with games, the other had only bonus content, like making of and other things like that), widescreen support, FOV, a lot of things.
I would love to see it on GOG, but I doubt EA is planning to release a DRM-free version very soon.

There actually is another version that comes with every C&C game-C&C complete or something that is supposed to work under win 7 but I haven't tried the game you mentioned. I did own TFD though.
