kohlrak: Basically, and this is probably the case for everyone else here, if you have the GOTY version, are not sure if there was somehow DLC missing from it, you clicked the free button and assumed it to just not take effect if you already had everything. In other words, 'cause GOTY and non-GOTY are considered different games for some reason. So i got DLC, but i didn't get the "other game." That's why i am being charged for it, even though i have an owned copy of the GOTY version right beside it (i actually unhid the GOTY version for the screenshot to show that).

MegisED: I actually added the free DLC long before there even was a game of the year edition, when I was still waiting for a sale on the normal edition and its expansions.
Me too. Some time after that, GOG adjusted their code and it is not possible to do similar thing now.
But GOG user still can get DLC as gift, before they get the base game.

I wonder how that worked. Normally you can only get gift codes for DLCs of games that you don't own. But you can't redeem them and add them to your account. And as far as I know that isn't a thing that was introduced lately. It always worked that way.

Thank you for explaining. That's quite an interesting situation. I wonder how many people did the same thing.

"Claim it now" during one of the sales, iirc.

I imagine more. I can't be the only one who's paranoid about not having every little DLC available in a game.

I'm not even remotely interested in Galaxy, since it requires that I play the installed games on the machine that downloads them.

IIRC from the release thread, everyone was able to add the free DLC due to the boxed edition of TW3 coming with a GOG code.
