So hello guys, I have a question regarding controller support of games on GOG. I have noticed there are many games on the store that does not show whether there is controller support available or not. If there's no controller icon on the 'product details' section, people will automatically think that there's no controller support available in a particular game. But actually there are tons and tons of games that actually have controller support but there's no mention of it in the store game page, I actually got to know this by looking at the steam page of the same games I own there. So what's a better place to check that before buying a game instead of checking at steam? Controller support is a deal breaker for me actually since I'm broke and my keyboard is almost gone to dust but luckily have my 360 controller an I hate steam to my bones because of their stupid DRM so don't even wanna visit their site. Please help.

Pc gaming wiki is your best friend in such situations! It's an amazing site you can find much more information related to a game and gaming in general over there. Please search it up on Google or just jump right in the official link here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Home
And no need to worry there's no virus on it or anything is totally safe, hope the info helps you :-).

I find most games I have played recently where I would use a controlller (ie driving, fighting, platformer) recognise a 360 controller fine. Older games before that console though won’t and you may need a program like antimicro:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/antimicro.mirror/

Pcgamingwiki is a good resource for information about a game such as controller support, monitor support etc:

A rule of thumb when a xbox 360 controller doesn't work and one doesn't want to use a program then the logitech gamepad f310 is a safe bet to get them to work as oddly games with controller support that should work with the 360 controller or atleast a older controller doesn't when it needs a older input type but using the logitech gamepad f310 gets them to work on the Xinput setting and when that doesn't work switch to dinput from the back trigger granted I prefer the Xbox controller layout for gaming as it is much more comfortable to use

Yes, I heard a fair few rolls say that about Logitech controllers, TBH I have not come across the situation, but then I tend to use keyboard and mouse for a fair percentage and co trollers only when the game fits the control pattern, eg. I would never play FPS with a controller.

What do you mean by 'rolls''? Asking as I assume its a typo but checking encase its a slang or term I just by change em unfamiliar with

Side note I legit prefer Controller over keyboard and mouse in most game cases as I don't need to remap or worry about ''none rebindable keys '' as I have dealt with far too many games that rebinding is not a thing and I prefer a specific keybinding aswell as not wishing to toy with programs or code to switch bindings of keys if avoidable..

Yes, sorry, I am sure autotype is deliberately obtuse and useless. How does it go from others to rolls?
