Themken: This particular bug must surely have been fixed in the three years since the thread's creation.
I had that issue before, but not after I reinstall Windows 7 (yes, 7, not 10). My Galaxy client works fine.
I have programs that sometimes force a run on startup but it's nothing that a startup manager can't fix. I just use CCleaner, it's still one of the best PC tuneup tools.

Oh, and I've found that, in some cases, re-enabling the program on startup (in the program's options), then disabling it again sometimes fixes it. Not always, but in some cases, it worked for me.
