Reminds me of the Teddy Bear Virus hoax - "If you see a Teddy Bear icon in your system folder, it's a virus. Delete it!"
My past boss was boasting about how he found the icon on his Windows PC and got rid of it. I kept trying to explain that it was all a hoax, but he wouldn't listen and kept insisting that it was a virus. Good thing the file isn't too important.... though, he's lucky he didn't get the email about this instructing him to select all the icons and delete the folder contents!
PS - He even claimed his PC worked better after this.
