akhliber: Eep! I'll go ahead and re-send! Good to know, I was worried you hadn't gotten it. My apologies! Sending again now :)
Received now. Thanks! :)
I need to point out some of these giveaways requires at times one to have made varying contributions in the past....

Oh good, sorry for the delay there. Enjoy it and take care! :)

RaggieRags: My first giveaway was won by the first person to sign up. Congratulations, WryNail! The gift is on the mail.

I have more giveaways already lined up, but I think I'll let them rest a bit as I'm sure everyone still feels the glut of Christmas sales. ;-)
Thank you very much! Very appreciated!

Hey there...so just put up my first giveaway on Steamgifts. As I said on that page, its my first giveaway so just seeing how it goes with something small first till I understand the process.

By the way, on the drop down list of games, some have an asterisk and some don't - couldn't see anything in the FAQ (or didn't look closely enough) to see what the difference in the two is - anyone know? Thanks!

Zeno Clash

Edit: Oh, forgot to mention this - I'll be at work when the giveaway ends and unless I get to it at lunch time, I'll have to award it later in the evening.
Messed up the end time too, meant it to be 7pm EST but now realize should've done it for another day or two as well but wasn't thinking. Just working out the kinks heh.

I think it might be indicating games that have previously been in a bundle.
Bundle games don't get you the full value on your account under giveaway value.

These are games that were included in PWYW bundles at some point, like Humble Bundles, IndieRoyales, Be Mines, Indiegalas, etc. You can make giveaway of those as much as you want, but once you hit $30 contributor value they won't affect your cotrib value anymore.

They do, but only until you hit $30. Then they don't add anymore.

Thanks for the info ZYZ and retsuseiba. I remember reading something in the FAQ about bundled games but don't recall mention of an asterisk. Then again, didn't know Zeno Clash was part of any bundle. Got the game from Amazon last month, liked it, saw it for sale the other day on Steam and thought it'd make a good first giveaway here, so went with it.

Will keep an eye out on future asterisked games. Thanks again.

Have they changed it again?
From what I gathered reading the update threads a while ago, the more non-bundle games you contributed the higher the percentage value of the bundled games you get awarded to you.
The example thread shows a user with over $100 games given away getting full value from bundle games.

andrestv: My first (and second) giveaway(s) here:
Dungeons of Dredmor Complete
EYE: Divine Cybermancy

It's just a little fraction of all I already got from you guys (on Steamgifts and the forums), but I hope to make someone happy :D
EDIT: they both end on Tuesday.
+1 for the giveaways :)

Actually, they will give you up to a percentage of your total contributor value of non-bundle games (I think it was 20%)
Yeah, apparently I misread it. So if I understand it correctly, up until $25 (or was it $30?) you'll get the full value from bundle then it gets capped. And the cap will increase in 20% of your non bundle contributions. Is that correct?

Maybe my english reading has deteriorated in these last couple of weeks, but it took me a few rereads to understand the official thread at SG (that's assuming I did actually understand it now x_X).
