For me and a lot of people, the crucial part of what defines an MMO would be a persistent world.
Forge is a class-based multiplayer game (TPS) with a selection of maps to play on. It's not an MMO.

I used to own the game, and it was pretty okay. It was advertised being compared to monkey island (the original 4), but it wasn't as fun, and some puzzles seemed a bit odd. I have since lost the CD.
