There is kind of a significant migration happening from Steam to GOG right now... so I'm just waiting for the "how can I put my Steam games on GOG" threads. You might see more people looking of those. :P
The thing is I want those games DRM-free so much I would rather re-buy them here and actually get them here, then just sit about waiting for free keys. Although free keys would be a real bonus.

Nice idea. Didn't know that was possible at all. But I would rather get GOG keys for Steam games. :)

Well, that's not exclusive to Steam copies. GOG offers a backup copy of W1&2 even if bought elsewhere: a DVD boxset or a digital copy from one of digital stores that sell a full digital download (not only a Steam key).

This just feels like a slap in the face to anyone trying to support DRM free and GOG. I understand some people want it, but I don't feel it is a good trend at all.
