My first post was a mere observation or advise; stating the obvious, based on the OPs (and all those with similar troubles who have made topics about it) sorrows.
My second post was to point out how absurd the current market situation is when ppl post how lucky they are that they can play their whole game collection.

Actually it is, with 125 million accounts and growing Steam has no real competitors.
Emob78: Not only is it untrue, but it dismisses all of the other competition that Steam does indeed have... such as GOG. Being a monopoly does not require a company face no competition and GoG is not a direct competitor as most of its games are marginal and dustbin titles representing an insignificant number of pc game sales.
