No. Just no. I rather have a keyboard, mouse, and proper gamepad separately than this oddity.

It looks like Valve is trying to beat Sony's newest iteration by adding even more bad design choices :P. On the serious note, it doesn't look comfortable to hold but who knows.

Interesting. I like the ides of dual track pads instead of joysticks. It may take a little while to get used to, but I can see how it can work. The inclusion of a touchscreen to be used as what-ever buttons dependable on game is also not bad at all.

The design is a bit rubbish, at the moment, and there is no indication of the actual size yet. There is a picture of a pare of hands holding something, but it looks alike a very early beta version. it seems a little bit small to me, and I hope the final one will be a little bit larger. Nice to see it is fully moddable also.

Kudo's for Valve for having buttons underneath for the idle fingers, should have been more buttons though.

So its like a tablet with triggers... no tight control, less precision on the axil movement... YES this screams awesome, so awesome I'm going to drive a car with a tablet interface on ice... cause who needs tactility? Not me.... LETS DO THIS!

Thats a nice looking pair of portable speakers.

You know, looking at the Portal 2 bindings screencap, clicking on the right trackpad to use/pick up things seems a lot smoother than reaching your right thumb up to press the A button, or clicking down on the right thumbstick.

Awesome! I knew they would make a controller. Finally something new in that department. I'll definitely get one.

NOTE: Anyone else enjoyed the idea that they actually mapped quick save to the touch pad? :) There's some hope at least that not all games will end up becoming auto-saving everywhere.

I am not that optimistic. It's always nice to try something new, but I believe Microsoft and Sony spent billions of dollars on researching to settle that analog joysticks are the best suitable ways of controlling video games.

Although I can't imagine playing FPS games or RTS games on any types of controllers other than mouse and keyboard.
