Elmofongo: Again this is how KNIGHTS actually fight:

Actually, the image I have of knights fights (image i got from XIth century novels) is mostly two dudes face to face hammering each other with their swords until one armour gives in.

Snickersnack: "A New Hope" and "Empire Strikes Back" are fantastic. "Return of the Jedi" is mixed. The prequel trilogy is mostly awful.
I agree with that, though i don't know if i'd put Return of the Jedi above Episode 3, both are completely mediocre.

I liked the first two and as a child i was ecstatic when me and my parents went on a vacation to Tunisia and we ended up on Tatooine - since most of the houses are still standing. Like Obi-Wan Kenobi's house or the whole Mos Espa Set.
I like all of them! I get the hate towards the prequel trilogy, but luckily I don't share in it. I'm extremely concerned though about whether or I'm not going to like the new one.

That's the one "good" thing about my hate for the prequels. The total, absolute disaster they were pretty much desensitized me when it comes to Star Wars. I still hope it will be good, as I do with every movie because I like to see good movies, but I don't really particularly care about it. If it turns aout to be terrible I will just shrug and get on with my day. I've seen Star Wars fall apart and become a punchline, it can't shock me again.

That's a very thin silver lining indeed, but like I said, I get the hate/disappointment. I only hope it doesn't happen to me with the new one :P
