Hello everyone. A simple question because there is only an Italian version for the second chapter? Star Wars ™: Rebel Assault 1 has never been translated into Italian? Thanks so much!

I don't understand the question.

MarkoH01: I don't understand the question.
I only asked if there is an Italian translation of Star Wars ™: Rebel Assault 1

Look here. It seems that only the second part has the italian language just like you persumed.

According to GOG database, it does.

edit: disregard the above, both 1 & 2 share the same installer so it's difficult to know for sure if all details apply to both games. Wait for someone who actually owns the games to chime in or contact support.

I tell you again. Both games had only English language when they were released here on GOG. The additional languages added are in the changelog I linked above. Italian is only added for the second one.
I'm not 100% sure, but there's a good chance that the retail version was localized. I remember that CTO (which used to distribute Lucasart games in Italy) always tried to translate and even dubb SW titles whenever possible.

If you want to know more try asking at Oldgamesitalia.net. That's probably your best bet now.

This might be but the GOG version does not offer italian for part 1. Otherwise it would be in the changelogs.

But I wasn't talking about the Gog version. Among other things, the OP also asked if RA1 has ever been translated, and I think the answer is "probably yes".

I mean, you can easily find a few "Italian" copies on Ebay.it, but the thing is, I'm not sure how far the translation goes (some companies think that translating the manual - and nothing else - still counts as "game in Italian" and well, newsflash: it doesn't). So until I see a clear screenshot of the game with Italian subtitles I wouldn't feel comfortable to tell anyone to get it off Ebay.

Oh sorry, I totally misunderstood the question but reading it again yes, you are correct. The question was not if GOG is providing such a version but rather if it even does exist. My mistake.

Mine is not really better so don't worry :) I wish you could look in your hunt for the italian version. If it actually does exist maybe GOG will add it here as well sometime.
