I bought this game last night while it was on sale. I am very happy with this purchase and plan on buying the other SW games. However, when I play KotOR in crowded areas, I get a frame rate drop. It doesn't really hurt the gameplay, but its kinda annoying. Is there any way to fix this issue?

I emailed support and all they sent me was something with a ticket number. I'm sorry, I'm new on GOG and PC gaming in general. What do I do with the ticket number?

Reduce settings? I remember soft shadows, frame buffer and AA are performance drainers even with optimal drivers and hardware.

TweakGuiders KOTOR 2

This is for KOTOR 2 but it has the same engine as the first one so maybe some advanced tweaks can help.

I lowered every visual setting on it but got the same frame rate issue. Mainly it is in the cantinas.
