Radiance1979: Flying just past a star destroyer is worth 40 dollar even if that comes with a mandatory online connection, a EA account, and DRM !
Change my Mind
oh and flying with a xbox one controller takes a lot of confidence !!
Whsie: Rogue Squadron II is still the best if you want to fly in the classic films.
Well, i did enjoy the ending written by ..... forgot the writers name but with the last remaining empire admiral Thrawn, of course the original trilogy is beyond rating with little ol me watching that movie constantly throughout my childhood years.. not on a daily basis, mind you
Cyker: It certainly looks flashy.
I do like what they've done with it but it's got a long way to topple TIE Fighter and FreeSpace2 as my space combat sims of choice!
The sense of scale would have impressed me more if I hadn't played the previous titles like TIE Fighter, XvT, X-Wing Alliance and FreeSpace 2 already.
It certainly doesn't seem to have the depth of either of those games so far, but I haven't seen much of the story mode.
Some of the campaign mods for FreeSpace 2 are simply breathtaking, without even considering they are free and done by fans and not a giant money soaked company!
Well lets see, the thrill of besieging a capital with your x wing is done quite nicely, almost crashed into one .. or two or three... the dogfights are still beyond my capacity! thumbs are to large to wield a stick .. lets leave it at that

nightcraw1er.488: Just wait a bit, it’s coming here soon. Yep, it’s only an EA sign in, so not drm, you just need to use galaxy.
