on win7 64bit home i got problems when switching the resolution to 1600x1200, the game crashes and the following error pops up (you have to delete your nameprofile .cfg file or change the entry of "seta r_mode "9" to 8 to get the 1280x1024 resolution back.

Maybe it's a silly question, but does your display support this resolution?

I have the game and it runs perfect on my computer. I have a HP Touchsmart 300-1003. Its running Windows 10. Do I have problems with the game? Not a single one. It could the installation of the game itself. Example, Star Trek Voyager Elite Force is picky with Windows 10 or Vice Versa. Well using the CD, its a pain in the ass. But if you have the game and use a crack for it so you don't have to use the CD, works perfect. My suggestion, install the game on the computer. Next, go to a torrent site and find it and just download the crack of the game so you don't need the CDs. See if that works for you. I am having a problem with Masters of the Skies - The Red Ace. Damn game is hell trying to play on Windows 10. But its sequel works wonderful. Also another game is a pain in the ass that I got working finally - Hoyle Casino Empire.

I seem to remember Elite Force II being picky about certain resolutions, and displaying that error when it didn't like a certain resolution. Try lowering the resolution your running the game at.

I have used GameCopyWorld assmunch. Game didn't work for me using a crack from there. Plus this isn't a kid you're talking to. How did I even manage to dig up a 4 year old thread?
